This process will remove the 1 hour time limit from the over 600 Games available at

www.realarcade.com

and made all the games a full version.

First ,goto control panel>>>>>apperance and themes>>>>>folder options. Once in the folder goto the "view" tab, then go down to "hidden files and folders" and make sure you have the "Show hidden files and folders'"checked. Click apply, then ok.

Go to

www.realarcade.com

, download, RealArcade (if you have not already done so) and download the Demo to any game you like. Install the game, start to play the game for
about a min, then hit (ALT & TAB) keys together at the same time, that will minimize, but not stop the game.

Now goto C:>>>> My Games>>>>then the folder for the game you downloaded. Once inside the folder you will find 2 icons that are the same, one will be very lite and the other darker, these are the game icons to play the game. Choose the lite shaded one, then right click and go to properties. Goto the bottom and check the read-only and uncheck the hidden, then hit ok. Now Right click this lite icon (which will now be dark, since you changed to read only)again and make a shortcut to the desktop........

CLOSE ALL THE GAMES AND RealArcade and SITE. YOU HAVE TO CLOSE ALL. If you don't close everything to deal with RealArcade the game will not become full. This will not work unless the game you want to make full is started and minimized

Now use the shortcut you put on your desktop and have fun. You can then move the shortcut to any folder you like and it will still work. Do not try and copy and paste the file to a folder, or move the file from its folder, it will not work. You must make a shortcut.

Once you are set up and running on this game, you do not have to "show hidden files' again. Each game you download the trial for just change the lite game icon to read only and make a shortcut where you want it. Make sure the game is in play or the lite icon will not show up.

You can transfer the games to another computer without downloading RealArcade to the other computer, here is how you do that.

Copy the following folders to a USB (thumb) dive:

C:>>>>My Games>>>>then copy the game folder you want to transfer, if you want to copy all the games, just copy the "My Games" folder. If you copy just one game out of the "My Games" folder, you must make a new folder on the new computer with the title "My Games", and put the Game folder inside.

C:>>>>Program Files>>>>then copy the "Real" folder. You have have to copy this once. Once this is on the new computer, all you have to transfer is the games you want on the other computer.

Once the folders are on the Thumb Drive, you can either play straight from the thumb drive or put them on the new computer in the same locations that you got them from on the old computer.

Now, if you wanted to share the games on the net, just make a folder with the "Game Name" then put the "Game" and "Real" folder in that folder and zip it. If you post then on a site, make sure you give directions on where to put the folders once the person downloads it, because there is no install like most games.

I had to make 2 post to fit the game list in.
There are 697 games in all as of today, and they add new ones once a week
